Allplan is an object-oriented design software package for architects, civil engineers and construction companies. Allplan can be used to create architectural and structural models and derive quantities and costs throughout all phases of the project.
Furthermore, Allplan offers a special feature: you can switch between 2D design and 3D modeling as required depending on the project phase, ensuring you always have access to the best method of working.

 

The building design and construction process involves communication between participants from a wide variety of disciplines, as well as an ever increasing flow of data and information.

Simplification of the communication process requires an open platform that integrates all parties involved in the construction project.
Allplan supports you in this respect not only by handling more than fifty file formats, including the standard PDF and IFC formats as well as DWG, DXF and DGN, but also with interdisciplinary solutions such as costing and GA design based on a central building model.

BIM is short for Building Information Modeling and refers to the integrated process of optimized design, construction and management of buildings or real estate. All participants in the project benefit from up-to-date, high-quality and freely accessible information about the respective design/construction/current status. The objective of this method is to facilitate cost-effective and error-free design, construction and management of buildings.

As well as creating architectural models, you can also calculate quantities and costs with Allplan. Furthermore, structural models can be displayed and converted into analysis models. The calculation results from the analysis model are then transferred back into the structural model. Design professionals can also enhance the model with data for heating, ventilation, sanitation and electrical installations.

Who is Allplan Campus aimed at?
Allplan Campus is aimed at students and teachers in the fields of architecture, civil engineering and construction.

You need to have a internet browser installed (preferably Firefox release 2 or Internet Explorer version 5.0) In addition JAVA SCRIPT must be activated to properly represent the content and pages. To use the e-learning films you should have the Flash Player from Adobe version 9.0 or higher.

To log-in on Allplan Campus you need only the e-mail address which you used for your registration and your password.

Thereafter you can login at the top of the page where you will find two fields for email and password.
